Dr. Amy Liu (MBBS, B. Physio. Dip. RANZCOG Obs & Gynae, Prof. Cert. of Derm and Aesthetics, Skin cancer, Dip Child Health, Cert. Focused Psychological Skills) is an Australian dual trained medical doctor and physiotherapist based in Melbourne.

Dr. Liu has undertaken her training from Deakin University Medical School, Otago University (New Zealand), Massey University (New Zealand), Royal Australian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Royal Australian College of General Practitioner and Sydney Children's Health network. Over the years she has worked at St Vincent Hospital Melbourne, University Hospital Geelong, Mercy Hospital, and various general practices in Melbourne.

Believing in life long learning, Dr. Liu regularly attends various conferences and seminars to ensure her practice is based on the best evidence. For the benefits of the patients she cares for, she works closely with industry specialists to gain insight into the most current treatments available. She is enthusiastic on preventative medicine and integrates lifestyle medicine to help her patients achieve their life potential both physically and mentally.  With every patient she sees, Dr. Liu takes a thorough history and conducts physical examinations in order to obtain the most accurate diagnosis in which she is able to provide the most comprehensive and individualized care for her patients.

She is also a keen advocate for physical appearance, particularly in the area of aesthetics and medical weight loss. Dr. Liu believes that looking the best version of yourself on the outside helps promote mental and physical well being, improve confidence and open doors to many opportunities in life. Dr. Liu's area of special interests include Dermatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medical Weight loss, Mental Health and Children's Health. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve top health, regardless of the current status and stages of their life.

She is also a RACGP accredited Psychological Skills Practitioner where she provides psychological education and counselling (eg. cognitive behavioural therapy, problem solving therapy , stress management, sleep management) to help our clients with mental health issues and navigate through difficult situations in life. Her experience working in Mercy hospital Mental Health department has provided invaluable experience helping her clients in the community.

Dr. Amy Liu holds dual qualifications as a medical doctor and a physiotherapist. She has been servicing our community since 2003 and is very experienced in managing a whole host of musculoskeletal conditions.
